We've spent a lot of time on our app to ensure a smooth experience for the canvasser. To make the most out of your day, here's a few tips and guidelines we recommend.
Only use the tablet for canvassing. Using it for other activities such as web browsing, playing games, running a mobile hotspot or watching video not only uses up battery, but also uses up data. The tablets are provided with enough data for a month of canvassing. Other activities could use up the data more quickly and result in temporary suspension of service.
To save battery life, turn off the screen between doors. For longer shifts, you can also reduce display brightness.
Keep the tablet dry. If it begins raining, put it in a bag to avoid water damage.
Plug the tablet in each night to ensure it has a full charge for the next day canvassing.
